If any of this is you

The process feels overwhelming, burdened by confusing paperwork, unclear requirements, and never mind what on earth is Healthcode and how do I use it?

You know you’re missing an opportunity, but each day you delay feels like another lost chance to grow your practice and secure a new income stream.

Once you understand how the system works, everything becomes manageable.

"The system to access health insurance opportunities is more confusing than I thought, and having Louise explaining the process step by step... was very helpful. Very well presented and her experience and knowledge are very valuable.”

Meet Louise Hiles, your trainer

Hi, I’m Louise, a dual-qualified psychotherapist and coach with over a decade in practice. When I first started working with private health insurance providers, I found the process confusing. Like many, I found there was no clear process across health insurance companies, differing requirements and I had to spend a lot of time hunting for information.

Before training as a therapist and coach, I worked in an operational role where I developed a deep understanding of invoicing, credit control, administration and communication processes for businesses from startups to corporates. This experience means I know how to streamline complex systems, ensuring efficiency and accuracy, skills that are invaluable when it comes to managing insurance clients.

Over the last four years I have streamlined processes that have taken the stress out of registering and working with insurance providers and allowed me to focus on working with clients, building a new income stream. More than a quarter of the psychotherapy income in my own practice comes through insurance referrals.

Now, I’m here to help you do the same. This course is designed to simplify the process, so you can feel confident and in control while growing your practice with insurance-paid clients.

This could be you…

A simple line drawing of a checklist, tick boxes and pencil.

Learning the exact steps to easily register with private health insurance providers.

Simple line drawing of three coins with a pound symbol.

Adding an income stream for your practice.

A simple line drawing of a hand underneath a clock or timer.

Saving time and reducing stress with clear processes and guidance.

  • You are ready to move beyond the overwhelm of insurance applications and grow your income.

  • You want a second referral stream alongside the marketing you already do.

  • You are a UK based therapist or psychologist seeking financial stability and growth with a new income stream.

  • You are accredited with HCPC, BACP, BABCP or NCPS, registered with UKCP.

This isn’t for you if:

Understanding the real numbers behind insurance work

Private health insurance can feel confusing and unnecessarily complicated from the outside. Many therapists and psychologists are unsure whether it is worth the admin, whether the income makes sense, and whether systems like Healthcode are really necessary.

The scenarios below offer realistic, everyday examples to help you decide what feels right for your practice.

Scenario 1: Sarah starts with just one AXA client

Sarah signs up to work with AXA and charges £70 per session. She begins with just one AXA client, attending 4 sessions per month.

Sarah chooses to use Healthcode’s ‘Clearing Service’ electronic invoicing so she can submit claims quickly, track payments, and reduce admin.

That gives Sarah:

  • Monthly revenue: £280

  • Monthly revenue after Healthcode expenses: approximately £269

  • Annual revenue: £3,360

  • Annual revenue after Healthcode expenses: approximately £3,225

Sarah could invoice manually for free through the insurer’s portal, but she decides that the time saved and clarity gained are worth the small monthly cost at this stage.

Scenario 2: Sarah builds a modest, sustainable caseload

Six months later, Sarah now works with AXA and one additional insurer. She has 6 insurance clients, each attending 4 sessions per month, and charges £80 per session.

With a higher volume of invoices, Sarah continues using Healthcode’s ‘Clearing Service’ electronic invoicing to keep her systems simple and consistent.

That gives Sarah:

  • Monthly revenue: £1,920

  • Monthly revenue after Healthcode expenses: approximately £1,909

  • Annual revenue: £23,040

  • Annual revenue after Healthcode expenses: approximately £22,906

At this stage, insurance work supports Sarah’s income without dominating her diary or her energy.

A woman with short blonde hair, glasses, and wearing a black top, smiling and resting her face in her hands while sitting at a desk with a laptop, smartphone, and pen, with a plant in the background.

You don’t have to continue to let confusion and fear hold you back from growing your practice. Without taking action, you’ll continue missing out on new opportunities.

Imagine a future where you feel confident, clear, and capable of navigating the insurance providers’ processes - building a new income stream and a sustainable practice without the overwhelm.

Doors open on Tuesday 25th August. The early bird price is £99 until midnight on Tuesday 1st September, then £159. If you want an email the moment doors open, the waitlist is below.
